PicEngrave software

Postby Kyeakel » Wed Dec 31, 2014 9:20 pm

I just got my Emblaser and it came with picLaser lite. It works great, thanks for developing it. I was wondering what you use to develop the user interface? Do you have any plans to port the programs over to standard Windows format? The only reason I ask is that the interface takes some getting used to, where as other windows programs work like every other program. That way there is little learning curve.

Hi Kipp,

Welcome to our forum. I'm not sure I understand your question. PicLaser Lite was written so the user interface was simple to use. Bring in your .bmp image, set the basic settings and generate the gcode. If your talking about menus at the top like allot of Windows programs, there are no need for those menus.

PicLaser Lite is an Image to Gcode program and I have not seen any other like it that is written for Windows to compare it to.

Thanks for being a new Pic Product customer.
Jeff
