Hi there, I'm using PicLaser Lite, and I can't figure out what is wrong with the BMPs that I'm using. I converted some JPGs into BMP in Photoshop but your program says they're unrecognised file formats.
If you could give me a clue on this, I'd appreciate it.

PicLaser Lite is limited to using BMP images in 8 bit gray scale and 24 bit color formats only. I am unfamiliar with Photoshop, but there is likely a setting where you can choose different output file formats when converting your images. Most image editing programs allow similar choices.
Our own PicEdit Lite program will also convert several image file formats into the BMP format that PicLaser Lite can use, as well as providing other image editing features that can improve and prepare your images for engraving.
