This was done with the Dot Pix Spindle engraving profile In our newly released PicEngrave Pro 6. A .05" Pixel Resolution, Z-.035" Max depth, Negative Colors selected and a 60D V-bit was used on a 12" X 12" X .236" sheet of translucent white Acrylic spray painted black. The original image was edited to black around the border area, so it was ignored when generating the gcode to cut down on the overall plunge drilling run time.
This one is 11.25" X 11.25" in size and took 4 hours and 22 minutes to complete. We used a -.032" Max depth on this one instead. Here is the 60D V-bit I am using. https://tinyurl.com/y8krp72m The travel feedrate was set at 100 IPM and plunge at 7 IPM.
