It looks like Easel is not including in any carriage returns and line feeds in its gcode files. Never used Easel so not sure what to recommend.

Did you try to Send the file and get an error?

Zip the file and email it to me. I'll check it out.

Please click the red "Picengraver" under my icon and email it to me.
Did you try to send the file to your machine using the PicSender 'Send' button?

Just discovered that any file generated from easel on my PC laptop throws an error code and wont run. The files created on my home PC and transferred via thumb drive to the lap top run OK.
Something with the lap top?

What is the error code? Grbl has 38 Error codes, and several Alarm codes. Knowing the number of the error code can help diagnose what caused it.

Error 20 is: "Unsupported command Unsupported or invalid g-code command found in block."

It might be some proprietary command Easel adds to its gcode files. I just don't know the answer.

If you can zip up a gcode file that gives the error and email as an attachment to me, I will be happy to look into it for you. Click on my "Picengraver" icon name besides this post, and you can send an email to me.

Chic,
I loaded your file into Wordpad and then saved it to my computer as a plain text file, then loaded it into PicSender, and it loaded normal. The M7 at the beginning of the file is causing the error. I removed it and reposted your file.

To use an M7 command, I think it has to be enabled in the grbl source code and then recompiled. Seem to remember reading something about that somewhere a while back.

BTW, I have not run the complete file. Please let me know if this takes care of the issue for you.
