Re: picsender work on open builds black box

Sorry, I have no experience with the OpenBuilds Blackbox controller. I do understand it uses a version of grbl 1.1, but don't know of any other users connecting it with PicSender. Perhaps you can get some help here:

Re: M03/M05 Button no longer works

Make sure you have at least 1000 showing in the PWM DRO (select 1000 in the drop down box under the S+ button, and click the S+ button). Then try M03. Did this turn on the spindle? There was a change to the code for laser operations that changed the M03 button action. Leaving 1000 in the PWM DRO sho...

Re: Rotary Axis

Thomas, PicSender has provisions for saving special rotary setups, but it does not calculate or change a user's grbl settings. As you questioned, to do rotary engraving will require a CAD program, such as VCarve to calculate the toolpaths. For the special grbl calibrations for rotary use, they will ...

Re: import g code from easel

Chic, I loaded your file into Wordpad and then saved it to my computer as a plain text file, then loaded it into PicSender, and it loaded normal. The M7 at the beginning of the file is causing the error. I removed it and reposted your file. To use an M7 command, I think it has to be enabled in the g...

Re: import g code from easel

Error 20 is: "Unsupported command Unsupported or invalid g-code command found in block." It might be some proprietary command Easel adds to its gcode files. I just don't know the answer. If you can zip up a gcode file that gives the error and email as an attachment to me, I will be happy t...

Re: import g code from easel

What is the error code? Grbl has 38 Error codes, and several Alarm codes. Knowing the number of the error code can help diagnose what caused it.

Please click the red "Picengraver" under my icon and email it to me.
Did you try to send the file to your machine using the PicSender 'Send' button?
