I just ran a test here in Metric mode and have discovered an issue. My apology to you, and thank you for reporting this. I will look into fixing it right away.

By chance, have you been clicking in and out on Metric mode at all? I can only make it act up here by doing that. If I start up already in Metric mode, I can not get it to stop continuous jogging in X/Y.

I can’t say that I have, but I have been having issues where I had some probe files saved in the quick codes that were accidentally G20 and it was causing issues with the main file I was trying to run. It was randomly trying to move in inches even though it was a G21 file and I had metric checked.

That is probably a grbl issue since the G20/G21 are modal, and PicSender will not / can not send either G20/G21 that is not in a gcode file. Safer to assure gcode files have the G20/G21 at file beginnings to prevent this.

My testing so far seems to indicate switching back and forth Imperial to Metric may introduce the issue you are having. I will have to see if I can program a fix for that occurrence. Thanks, it's another clue.

For now, until I can program a better solution, if you do have the G20/G21 issue again, or the continuous jog stops working, click the Close button after cycling the Metric check box to get back into G21 mode, then click the Open button and re-home the machine. I think this will be a temporary fix for the continuous jogging issue you found.

I’m sorry to say that it’s still not working for me. I’ll record a video real quick so you can see.

This is an unlisted video. So you must have the link to be able to see it.

Might be easier to send to my email: picengraveverizon.net
