Re: Really odd output

Hi found out a lot today pretty sure I've found part of the problem. went through all the hardware sense we had more or less ruled out the gcode and managed to get a full non ghosted engraving, the thing that worked was to use an old vista laptop to run the printer/engraver with the code generated b...

Re: Really odd output

ah your right don't know how that happened (not that you were right but for me to have wrong command). did a test and it seems my firmware response to the incomplete command is to turn off the laser anyway to make positive did quick engrave and their was no change.

just found that the ghosting changes based on what angle you engrave, with horizontal set it ghosts to the right with 45 set it's down and right

Re: Really odd output

Hi thanks for the Gcode just ran it and this is what came out http://s2.postimg.org/eejs7iiet/Gauntlet_New_Gcode.jpg same ghosting as with mine so its either my settings or my machine. as a point of note the ghosting scaled the same in larger image as in the smaller (grew same as image).

Re: Really odd output

All right I've sent the Gcode i used, but would it be possible for you to also send my some Gcode so that i can run it through and eliminate another possible problem point. if it was at most 170mm HxL and no more than 55 max laser power i could see if it engraves without the ghosting

Re: Really odd output

first let me thank you for still helping me. I went and engraved a new much larger image that might make the problem easier to see, this ones from the original Alice in wonderland you should see that it adds an overlay of the image at an offset. http://s27.postimg.org/wg4vwvvv3/Hatter.jpg shadows fr...

Really odd output

Hi I'm getting some really weird doubling in the end image but only in the full Version of PicLaser Lite it came out fine in the demo but after registering it came out with an odd skewed mirror effect. I am very new and running on a modified reprap 3d printer with a RAMPS board and x-wossee's Simple...
